My children begged me for touch typing lessons with Beaconsfield TouchTyping. Their homework is online and many find secondary school entry less onerous with such skills and they really find it fun! The girls did both on-site and online lessons and they have really learnt quickly. I’d wholeheartedly recommend this teaching.

My children really enjoyed doing the touch typing course and it worked really well on zoom. It was very easy to get them set up, and they especially liked the games. The session whizzed by and they often continued working after the session had finished! They went on the course for a week and both really came on with their touch typing which they are now using in their school work.

My 11 year old son has really benefited from his online typing lessons with Julia. During the sessions he is unusually still and focused and he feels very pleased with himself as he progresses through the levels. The programme is engaging and fun and it has already fed into his school work as he approaches tasks more confidently and is able to complete them in a shorter time. I am very pleased that we have chosen to focus on this essential skill before he starts secondary school. Thank you Julia for all your help.

I am delighted with my son’s typing ability having completed a course with Beaconsfield Typing. Julia engaged him well despite some challenges at times and he progressed quickly. He completed the course during lockdown via zoom and unlike lots of activities I didn’t feel this was a disadvantage. The only issue now is that he is the most competent typist in the house…. I need to get myself on a course too!!
